I Am Thinking...

 

  • I can only comprehend small bits of information at a time. I can usually focus for five to ten minutes. By age seven, I can sit and focus for up to 15-20 minutes.

  • Play and explorative activities stimulate my cognitive development.
  •  
  • I understand the world based on my sensory perceptions.
  •  
  • I like learning through manipulatives and benefit from teacher modeling.
  •  
  • By age 5 or 6, I can solve simple problems.
  •  
  • At age seven, I have developed greater listening abilities and my vocabulary has expanded. My thoughts are becoming more organized. I am beginning to use concrete thinking skills.
